Reading- This week we will be finishing up our story "Cocoa Ice." We will begin a new story "If You Made a Million." We will continue working on our book club. English- We finished our study of plays. We are beginning to learn how to write directions. Social Studies- Our Social Studies test will be Friday. Study guides will be sent home on Wednesday. Science- We will be doing lots of activities on movement this week. Have a super week!

Dear Parents, I hope that everyone received their notice that the Book Fair Breakfast has been changed to March 9th because of the weather coming in. We will pray that it passes over us and we have no more snow days! Below is what was happening in our class this week. Reading- We preformed our play “The Crowded House” today. The students took a quiz over this play. I have updated their Reading Counts points and have sent them home today. If your child came to our Book Fair night, those points have not been added yet. English- The students finished their personal narratives. We learned how to talk in front of others. Each student went in front of the class and told a story about themselves. Science- We have been taking notes. Today a the Science notes and study guide were sent home. Test will be Tuesday. Social Studies- We have also been taking notes in Social Studies.
